This sub series was created by Karen Alschuler during the processing of the SMWM collection to highlight the history of women in the planning and urban design fields, and to gather a record of her important projects in one group. The boxes and folders contain additional notations by Karen Alschuler regarding the materials in the files. The sub-series contains materials from Alschuler's work with Skidmore, Owning and Merrill in Boston and New York, as well as brochures and public relations materials from SMWM's planning and urban design department.

Collection is open for research. Many of the Environmental Design Archives collections are stored offsite and advance notice is required for use. Digital files are available with advanced request in the Environmental Design Archives (EDA) reading room and are not available online.
