Scope and Contents

From the Sub-Series:

Davis' writings are collected on public housing, product and interior design, and a historical overview of UC Berkeley architecture. One early design paper argues for boats as a model of environmental design. Using projects such as Summertree/Pajaro and Roosevelt Island as examples, he also writes on his housing philosophy and his teaching methods. Finally, this series provides evidence of his three published books: The Form of Housing, Designing for the Homeless, and The Architecture of Affordable Housing.
