The Faculty Papers span Bender’s career as an educator and dean. The administrative files include statements, reports, and presentations to the College of Environmental Design (CED) at the University of California, Berkeley; correspondence as Dean; and work done via the Architecture Experiment Lab (AEL). Course materials contain readers, presentations, and lecture notes for the many courses Bender taught. Student's work contains exemplary papers or designs by his students at CED. Presentations contain notes and writings presented at conferences under his role as educator or dean. Writings include professional writings as Dean of the CED.
