Henrik Bull Collection
Bernard J. S. Cahill Records
The bulk of the collection consists of Cahill’s office records which include photographs, clippings and scrapbooks that illustrate his completed projects. Project records primarily relate to funerary commissions, but letters and clippings about the San Francisco Civic Center are also included. The collection also contains a small number of records from the Cahill World Map Company, and personal and professional writings by Cahill.
California Association of Landscape Architects ( CALA) Records
The CALA records contain correspondence, reports, newsletters, drawings, and clippings. The collection chronicles the activities of some of the most active landscape architects in the San Francisco Bay Area at a time when they were struggling for professional recognition and standards. This collection offers insight into the process of defining the profession of landscape architecture in California.

The Alice Ross Carrey Collection spans the years 1945-1962, 1982-2005 and includes files created by Carey at her firm. The collection is comprised of Professional Papers and Project Records created at her architectural practice. The records include (correspondence, project files, promotional brochures, drawings, photographs, research notes, articles, etc.). Carey is well known for her preservation work, which is well documented in this collection.

Neal Townley Childs Collection
The Neal Childs collection includes correspondence, contracts, procedural statements, drawings and scrapbooks documenting the landscape architect’s career. Scrapbooks contain original photographs and clippings related to landscape architecture and garden structures, and are arranged by subject. Project records consist of specifications, plant lists, photographs, and one drawing and are primarily related to residential projects in the Palo Alto area.
